No, there is NO DEATH!
Tell me from your own experience, if you have ever experienced dying to yourself? Did you ‘lose’ your self?
Did you become something else, to then tell me or others, that you were ‘no’ more.
Why do you define your existence by another’s experience?
Is not this perception of ‘life’ or being ‘alive’ in you?
We have become used to living and believing by ‘others’ experiences. You may say, “hey, but my dearest mom or dad or brother or sister or friend or acquaintance died”. I accept — in your experience and definition, you can’t see them anymore. But many have told me, they still feel and experience their loved ones, even if not in human form.
Our lives seem to start and finish with others’ definitions of what life’s experiences mean. Ok, so maybe, till today, you can accept you seemed to be influenced by others ‘convenient’ thinking, or that you were simply ignorant.
Now, you wish to live by your own experience. You are mature enough to accept that what you personally feel, should be the closest definition of what exists truly. Your own personal experience of ‘life’ defines what and how you feel about happiness versus sadness, good versus bad, right versus wrong. The choice of opposites, or along that scale of personal preference, should be entirely your own. Similarly, the judgement of existence, what you feel YOU are, should be based on what you feel about what makes you feel alive.
So let’s decide today that we will choose to live with our own authentic untainted experience. We will not be dragged by society’s ‘mind’ antics of what we should think ourself to be. We will not simply accept, that we were born once, and we will die then one day.
Let’s just consider the possibility that we were there even before this body was seemingly ‘born’ and will remain after this body seemingly ceases to exist. We have been gifted with an intelligence, which gives us intuitiveness and is an inner compass of what seems good, or not so good for us. Let’s use this intelligence to try dig further into our own conscious existence to try figure out who we are? Lets trust ourself and our capabilities. In fact, our beliefs are within us. We don’t really need any validation for this even if we sometimes feel too conscious of how we look to the outside world. We can secretly just choose to dive into our depth of silence within us and try see what that practice helps us discover.
We undeniably seem to have arrived into this ‘living’ experience as an individual entity. We individually feel all pain and pleasure. Then surely, we must have it within us to figure out who we truly are. Since even this mind and body seems to respond well to what we think is good or not for us, and we are wired up to accept what makes us feel good or not, so let’s try use the powers of reasoning and thinking, analysis and assessment, to ourselves try introspect and contemplate on what is truly the underlying fundamental of the ‘aliveness’ we experience in this earthly adventure.
I am really not tasking you to give me an answer. All I want you to do, is to give yourself a fair chance. A fair chance at discovering who you truly are. I experience my true beingness as frequently as I want to. Believe me, it is the most magnificent experience you can have. Why don’t you try?
Even to become a local neighbourhood level sports player, or a school class level writer or math wiz, one has to try learn some fundamentals. To try achieve a club level or state level accolade, one has to train even harder everyday for months and years possibly. To simply even try get a job, one has to go through school for 12 years, if not an undergraduate or vocational programs for another 2–4, and then again get some sort of training or opportunity to start being a tad better at doing what is expected. All of this, one has to do themselves, with some coaching or mentoring or guidance from those who have achieved it for themselves for being a somebody for a quarter or half of their active earthly experience.
Then for arriving at the TRUTH of our own ENTIRE Earthly existence, and possibly even beyond, why do we expect or accept, quick, short-cut answers – that too from others? Why can’t we invest some part of our time each day, to reach deep within and try excavate the depths of our inner silence to try at least get a sneak peak of what may be our true identity.
You can! Its your inherent nature. No one can deny it to you, least of all yourself. While getting a coach, or mentor, or reliable guide may be certainly a way to start understanding the nature of the journey, truly speaking, your conviction and simple acceptance that who you are, must be something that you can find yourself, should be a considered possibility.
The doors to a truth, your own truth, which lead through a magical garden path strewn with the untold beauties of another world beyond the ordinary, and the simply unimaginable joys is awaiting you.
The only thing you need, is to start. Start today. Take out 20 minutes every day. Just 20 minutes to unravel what may be the start of a journey, which will make ALL this worth the pain and suffering you thought you were undergoing without reason. There is a BIG reason, MASSIVE reason why ‘this human’ state is upon us. It is the most privileged existence one can have. It is the ONLY opportunity you have in your hand to discover who you are. Start now, you will not regret it.
In surrender,
Gaurav
